CLIENT: FirstHealth of the Carolinas
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: McGill Associates assisted with the preparation of a conceptual site plan layout for the new Moore Regional Hospital – Hoke Campus in Raeford that included road schematics, a stormwater management system, and water and sewer design plan for a proposed hospital, medical office building, and health and fitness center on approximately 30 acres in Hoke County. The conceptual plan included open space features, stormwater retention ponds and buffers from existing wetlands on the site.
Upon completion of the conceptual site plan, McGill Associates was retained to provide civil engineering design plans for the site, including streets, curb and gutter, erosion control, stormwater, water and sewer utilities. McGill Associates also designed several parking areas for the new hospital. The design included parking facilities for employees, patients and guests at the new hospital and an adjacent medical office building.
McGill Associates’ construction administration team provided on-site observation and oversight services for this project, including plan compliance, spec and timeline adherence, OSHA compliance and construction monitoring.
