Roane County Awarded Site Development Grant with the Assistance of McGill Associates

The Roane County Industrial Development Board (Roane IDB) was recently presented with $356,072 by Tennessee’s Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Commissioner Randy Boyd. McGill Associates assisted with the Site Development Grant (SDG) application, resulting in Roane County being one of 15 sites to receive an award. The grant is awarded based on overall benefit to the community, economic impact, and projected return on investment.

According to the Roane Alliance, Roane County’s resource regarding businesses, tourism and economic development, the SDG will help fund clearing and grading for a building pad on the site to accommodate a 100,000 square foot building. Additionally, funding from the state will be matched by an investment from Roane County Government and Roane IDB.

McGill Associates will provide design, permitting, bid/award, and construction services for this key economic development endeavor. We are thrilled to assist Roane IDB with this project.
